CRICKET

Cricket is the most popular game in India.This game was invented in England during the 16th century.Cricket is a bat and ball game played between two teams of 11 players.Cricket becomes an international sport during the 19th century.In 1862 English team made the first tour of Australia.From there cricket gained popularity among diferent nations and several nations havwe started playing the game.
                              Our Indian cricket team played their first test match at Lords in 1932.The first world cup was held in 1975.The first champions are west Indies.India won their first world cup in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev

                                                India won the second world cup under the captaincy of M S Dhoni in 2011.
